"Les robots, mon emploi et moi", is a book written by Erwann Tison. It is a book that was written in January 2019 and explains how robots will change the world of work, we discover the jobs in which humans will have to leave their places to robots.
According to the book, the jobs that will be replaced are not only those that require the least qualifications, but also jobs such as doctors and bankers could be replaced in the near future. The book shows that 73% of today's working population, i.e. 18.2 million people, will be directly affected, and of these 42% will see their jobs disappear completely.
Of course, the arrival of artificial intelligence will also improve many conditions, especially if it allows us to improve the level of medicine even more. I find it quite worrying to find out how all this is going to happen, maybe this technology won't do any good for humans and it will end up costing us a lot of money, or maybe artificial intelligence will finally allow us to develop even more, it will be interesting to see how humans will manage to cooperate.
According to a study, 6 out of 10 French people are in favour of the arrival of artificial intelligence. They believe that it is an opportunity and that it will have a positive role in the medical field and in the fight against terrorism. What is certain is that the arrival of this technology will have positive and negative impacts. I only hope that we will be able to live with all these new features and that they will not create a lack of work for a large part of the workforce. Anyway... I will see when the time comes.
Which jobs will disappear in the short term? Is my job under threat? What changes will technological advances and the digital revolution bring about? Artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain: the 4th industrial revolution is a protean, powerful, multi-sectoral revolution that will profoundly transform the world of work. Far from the anxiety-inducing speeches, this book takes a concrete look at the jobs of today and tomorrow, and suggests ways to reform them...
